Post Operative-Therapy

Whether you have had a joint replacement, a tendon repair, or any other major surgery, a post-operative (“after-surgery”) therapy program is necessary for restoring joint movement, strength, and flexibility. Research shows that patients who participate in Physical Therapy following surgical procedures experience better outcomes with respect to function.

Surgery can affect your ability to perform everyday tasks and recreational activities due to resulting weakness and pain. Everyone’s goal is to recover quickly and completely, so that they can get back to the meaningful activities they love. More doctors and patients are incorporating Physical Therapy into the recovery process to promote healthy and successful outcomes after surgery.

Getting you moving is key to a healthy recovery. Physical Therapy can help you regain mobility recover faster, and it ensures that you are healing on a safe and appropriate timeline. Physical Therapy also serves as a great option for pain management to decrease dependency on medications such as opioids.

Post Operative-Therapy

I discovered Med A Quest accidentally. I was looking for a physical therapist. When I called, their new office had not opened yet. When Med A Quest opened their doors, Med A Quest called me for my first appointment. I was one of the very first new patients at the new location in Egg Harbor Township. I am still at Med A Quest, attending three sessions a week. Even though this office is new, the physical therapists I have worked with are very skilled, knowledgeable, and professional. They know what they are doing. The support staff is impressive as well. Yes, I recommend Med A Quest if you are looking for a physical therapist.

I recently completed physical therapy at Med A Quest, and felt compelled to let you know how pleased I was with the care and attention I received.

The moment you enter the door, Jennifer makes you feel welcomed, the atmosphere is inviting, and I particularly liked that there are individual treatment rooms for the more “personal” phases of treatment.

Brittany, my therapist, was compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable.  She supervised every exercise and continually asked about my comfort level.  One of the best things Med A Quest offers is an APP that is sent to your email showing all of the exercises, with instructions, that you are asked to do in between your scheduled appointments.

I strongly recommend that if you are in need of professional/compassionate care – you call Med A Quest!
