Neurological Disorders

Physical therapy is an option for those who have difficulty with movement or coordination as a result of neurological disorders. Neurological disorders affect the brain and/or spinal cord resulting, causing difficulty with everyday tasks. These disorders can include dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS/Lou Gehrig’s disease) or conditions such as a stroke, traumatic brain injury or spinal cord injury.

PT can identify and prioritize relevant needs, concerns, and expectations as a basis for establishing achievable outcomes with you and your caregivers. Therapy works to improve function, educate you and/or your caregivers, help you manage your symptoms, and improve the overall well-being and quality of life for the patient.

I recently completed physical therapy at Med A Quest, and felt compelled to let you know how pleased I was with the care and attention I received.

The moment you enter the door, Jennifer makes you feel welcomed, the atmosphere is inviting, and I particularly liked that there are individual treatment rooms for the more “personal” phases of treatment.

Brittany, my therapist, was compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable.  She supervised every exercise and continually asked about my comfort level.  One of the best things Med A Quest offers is an APP that is sent to your email showing all of the exercises, with instructions, that you are asked to do in between your scheduled appointments.

I strongly recommend that if you are in need of professional/compassionate care – you call Med A Quest!

I discovered Med A Quest accidentally. I was looking for a physical therapist. When I called, their new office had not opened yet. When Med A Quest opened their doors, Med A Quest called me for my first appointment. I was one of the very first new patients at the new location in Egg Harbor Township. I am still at Med A Quest, attending three sessions a week. Even though this office is new, the physical therapists I have worked with are very skilled, knowledgeable, and professional. They know what they are doing. The support staff is impressive as well. Yes, I recommend Med A Quest if you are looking for a physical therapist.
